The mixed metals and the technique used to making the jewel very indicative of a 19th century jewel. Weighs approximately 2 grams. Approximately 5.55 cm (2 3/16 inches) in entire length from ruby top to bottom pin point, and the motif is approximately 1.83 cm (11.5/16 of an inch) in width, bar holding diamonds length. The theme is spectacular, eternal balance of love and passion between two equally reciprocating lovers, since diamonds (2 old European cut diamonds) represent eternity, while rubies (faceted ruby on top) represent passion and love, now how cool is that ?!
