Cardo SPIRIT Replacement Control Unit

The Cardo Spirit control unit is the entry-level module in the Cardo range, designed as a smart and cost-effective solution for restoring or upgrading your communications system. This product includes the main unit only.

Usage Scenarios

  • Replacement in case of failure: Ideal if your original control unit has stopped working and is beyond repair.

  • Lost Replacement: The quickest way to get back on the bike if you've lost your main module.

  • Technology Upgrade: An affordable way to upgrade older systems (like the first Freecom series) to Bluetooth 5.2 technology, benefiting from more stable connections and wireless software updates.

Universal Compatibility with Audio Kits

The Spirit module shares the same form factor and connection as its higher-end counterparts, ensuring extended compatibility with existing speaker stands and audio kits.

You can use this control unit with the accessories of the following models:

  • Classic Series: Freecom, Freecom 2, Freecom 2+ (Plus), Freecom 4, Freecom 4+ (Plus).

Important Charging Notice

[!CAUTION] USB Standard Change: Older Freecom series used a Micro-USB cable. The Cardo Spirit controller requires a USB Type-C cable. If you don't have one, we strongly recommend purchasing one along with the controller to ensure functionality.

  • Excluded: This product is not a complete kit . The base, speakers, microphone, and cables are not included.
