EDWARDS E-ALEXI Scythe Alexi Laiho Signature Model Electric Guitar
This is the Scythe model, a guitar favored by Alexi Laiho, frontman of Children of Bodom.
The basic specifications are the same as his favorite ESP Scythe: a neck-through construction, Floyd Rose tremolo, and passive EMG HZ-H4 pickups, making it a very high-spec instrument.
It features an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets, and the 1st and 2nd strings are significantly cut away, providing excellent high-fret performance.
The white body has black stripes, and the fingerboard has inlays inspired by the Grim Reaper's scythe (Scythe), which is also the model's name.
The body also has a contour on the back, and the headstock is slightly angled, showing attention to detail...
And yet, it's an affordable guitar with Edwards' signature cost performance.
The impactful look, typical of a musician's model, is sure to look great on stage!
A minor change has resulted in the inclusion of a preamp booster specifically for the Laiho model!

This preamp booster was developed exclusively for Alexi Laiho's signature model, and is a crucial element in creating his trademark sharp, cutting sound.
It is a preamp jointly developed by ESP and MUSAMAAILMA, an ESP distributor in Finland, Alexi's home country.
It consists of four preset frequency switches and a gain control.
This preamp has the exact same specifications as those used by the world's leading guitarists who are currently most in search of the heavy rock sound.
