Vintage style military jackett from the old country. Late 19th century officer's jacket in durable black tapestry fabric with contrast black velvet collar, waistband and pocket flaps. Embroidered silver stripes on collar to signify rank, with lion emblem on left side of chest to denote corps. Fastens in front and on pockets with silver medieval lion buttons. Edged all over with satin piping. Lined inside with rich black satin.
