Vintage 1950's Teaching Lamb Cookery in Home Economics Classroom instruction booklet + Large Poster! Booklet is from the American Sheep Producers council (no copyright, but very 1950's artwork) and measures about 11" x 8-1/2" with 20 pages, illustrated. Poster was made by the National Live Stock Board (also no copyright)unfolds into a 23" x 33" chart with various lamb cuts explained. Neither appear to have been used - poster has only light storage wear to the outside edges and no pinholes from being hung. Both are in very good unused vintage condition. Light tanning, minor edge and corner wear. No noticed handwriting. Poster has creasing from how it was folded for shipping. Booklet has a mark from where a paper clip was stored inside the booklet.
We recently purchased a large number of paper items from the late 1940's or early 1950's. Formerly owned by a long-time high school home economics teacher, they were all stored in a file cabinet, and unless noted otherwise all were not used in class and have only minor if any storage wear. We have around 150 pieces to offer, and we couldn't find any copies of the vast majority of them anywhere on the internet! Please see our eBay store for more items (we will be listing them as time permits :-)
