[Ede Halápy was a] Painter, graphic designer. He studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Budapest under the guidance of Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch. He was featured in the exhibitions of the Műcsarnok and the National Salon with his watercolor landscapes. He also participated in the Venice Biennale with his watercolors. He was a member of the Cennini Society, where he organized group exhibitions in 1920 and 1926. He has won several watercolor awards. His frescoes can be seen in the cultural center in Szolnok and the church in Törökszentmiklós, and he also created posters.
