This is a recreation of the monitor as seen in Star Trek's Captain Kirk's quarters .

It features a backlit screen with a still photo of Kirk giving Spock and Dr. McCoy an epic speech from the episode "The Tholian Web".  Simply insert a data tape into the slot to hear the speech from the provided prerecorded sound card (approx. 1 min. 26 sec. in length). 

This full-size monitor includes 7 data tapes as shown to complete the package.

This monitor is lighted via 9V battery powered LED 

The monitor top swivels freely, however the white switches on the front of the monitor are stationary.  

This will make an excellent addition to your Star Trek collection or as a stand-alone piece.
