Note that you are not buying the Boot Seal, but the strip that goes between the lower edge of the Boot Seal and the Rear Bumper to protect against water ingress. This is often crumbling or missing entirely because it had not yet been reproduced until we released our first batch which became one of our best-selling products.

We took an original Lower Boot Strip, measured it to within 0.01mm and had it made up by an automotive OEM. The result is a part that looks (check out the second photo) and feels exactly like the original.

The Lower Boot Strip slides over a channel below the lower edge of the boot lip; if this channel is rusted out, the strip can be held in place with contact adhesive, windscreen sealant, or double-sided tape.
