Concentrically layed 37 strands with alternating helical direction in each layer. This results in a wire that is both flexible, consistent diameter and without any internal torsion (twisting stresses)
MIL-W-22759/16 wire is lighter than standard wire, with incredibly tough extruded ETFE insulation and rated operation of -90°C to 155°C
The flame-retardant ETFE insulation is thin and light, but resistant to abrasions, cuts, fuel, oil, and most chemicals.
