Five years ago, there was an American band that flew into the world from the Budokan — Cheap Trick!
On April 28, 1978, a history of rock music was made at Nippon Budokan.
First recognized by Japanese fans and at the height of its popularity, the first performance in Japan was held at Budokan.
Cheap Trick, who spread the name of "Budokan" around the world and became popular all over the world himself.
This film was released in 2008 as a limited edition for the 30 year anniversary, and it contains precious DVD and complete live sound source from the box set which disappeared in a short time.
The DVD contains 15 songs from the live performance at Budokan on April 28, 1978, which was filmed by a Japanese TV station at the time.
Other bonus videos include 2 live videos from the 30 year anniversary concert at Budokan in April 2008, as well as testimonies from all the members in 2008, and new interviews with Japanese director Norio Nonaka and cameraman Hiroshi Hasebe, to examine the secret story of "at Budokan" that made its name in the world and its era (with Japanese subtitles).
The CD contains a total of 19 songs performed at Budokan on April 28, 1978!
