"Suedehead’s Davey Warsop may currently be based in Southern California, but his band’s brilliant Neo Soul Pop sound is clearly tethered to the Northern Soul sounds of his native England.

Constant Frantic Motion combines the band’s stellar 7” EPs released seven years ago into one remarkably enjoyable full length. Warsop, formerly with the pop punk band Beat Union, grabbed a few fellow punk rockers (T.S.O.L.’s Greg Kuehn, The Aggrolites’ Korey Kingston, Fallborn’s Nic Rodriguez, and The Distraction’s Chris Bradley) to fill out his band, when Mike Ness heard a few songs and asked Suedehead to open for Social Distortion. 

The resulting EPs and now LP are 45 minutes,  give or take, of pure enjoyable, danceable bliss. The group pulls in a wide swath of influences from Elvis Costello and Joe Jackson to Dexys Midnight Runners. Songs like the infectious “Long Hot Summer” and the cool, sorrowful “Slip Away” are simply impossible to ignore. Along with the dozen tracks culled from those EPs, Constant Frantic Motion also comes with a bonus 7” sporting three new songs." - New Noise Magazine
