Yamaha TX500 650 ? Speedometer Gauge - NOS 1.0 MILE. Condition is new-other, sold as-is, no returns, I will combine shipping. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
USAS Liquidation - PLEASE READ: this item was included in a large parts liquidation sale, in which I purchased all remaining inventory (owner retired). The depth and breadth of parts is massive and spans decades! Some parts I am familiar with, others I am not. Condition varies and is described to the best of my ability after a thorough inspection. Anything not salable was scrapped or recycled. Certain parts were tagged and I am using that information for the basis of these listings (after reviewing similar items to compare/ensure accuracy). Some parts are NOS, others are aftermarket. Some parts are fairly new, others are not. Any date codes or markings will be noted in the listing. PLEASE review the pictures and description and reach out with any questions before purchasing, there are NO REFUNDS!
Includes: speedometer gauge only (NO BACK COVER). The box was sealed (see 2nd picture) when found. Box has lots of mold and mildew growth on it and does not look pretty. The part number is blacked out on the box but it reads 360-83570-43-00. Based on that part number this speedometer should fit 1973-1975 RD250 and RD350 models only, HOWEVER RD350 speedometers only went up to 120mph so I think this may have been reboxed. Several other Ebay members have reached out and mentioned the same thing - RD250/350 only went to 120mph. From what I've been told (thanks Pete!), this looks to be for a TX500 or TX650, not the RD's. The threads on the backside for the speedo cable and mounting bracket have never been used - you can tell nothing has ever been screwed on them. The black trim ring is very clean, as is the glass. There is some dirt still stuck in the outer ring but most wiped right off. The trip reset does spin easily but the numbers don't move (tried both ways). Not sure if that is because it's at zero or if something is wrong internally (wouldn't think so). Trip reset knob is straight and completely intact. I did NOT test the speedometer with a cable, sold as-is. The gauge shows 1.0 mile on it. No cracks on the glass, extremely clear. Please review the pictures carefully and reach out with questions. May fit other models but please do your research before purchasing!
