Listed German sculptor Wolfgang Schwartzkopff (1886-1943) created this striking porcelain statue/figurine in 1920 entitled "Ash Wednesday". Standing Pierrette at whose legs a desperate Pierrot clings.

This stunning porcelain figure is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, no paint loss or noticeable wear. (As often was the case, the factory created two holes in the base in order for the creation of a lamp if desired).

It measures approximately 13.75" in  height and 8" in width…while

6.5" at the base.
