while working at a theater in Indianapolis i was in charge of promotions and worked directly with the film company's to acquire promotional materials for their various films to either display or give away during big events. This was a unique time when BIG movies were considered events. We would stage massive promotions to draw more people into the theater. It was a tactic that worked in the late 80s & 90s. It was also a time I could get the film companies to send me extra posters and items to giveaway. All these items are left over from those promotions and thus are guaranteed 100% authentic. The only film memorabilia I sell is from my time at the college park theater in Indianapolis so I KNOW not only where it came from but why we got it and what we did with it after.
