Picked this up at a local estatse sale. Patented stamped and riveted nickel plated steel blanket clip or fastener. Locks in place. Marked PAT MAR 17 1928 & PAT PEND. Measures 3 3/4 inches long. From what I can determine this for securing the baby blanket.  Thanks for looking.
