Unlike bolt down security anchors the Y anchor does not depend upon the bolts integrity to withstand attack. It doesn't matter how strong the material used in the manufacturing of a bolt down type of ground anchor, the bolts themselves are their weak point. Yes bolt down ground anchors are quicker to install, BUT also quicker to remove.

There are lots of other designs in concrete fitting motorcycle security ground anchors on the market. But they all have one thing in common; their security chain access eye/hole/tunnel's are situated above ground level leaving their most vulnerable point exposed.

Hi Mark, Finally got the anchor in the ground! As you can see i have fitted the ground anchor into block paving. For extra strength ( because its in block paving) i have increased the hole size to 700x700x700 and installed additional steel supports around the anchor and tied the anchor to them before the concrete was added. I have to say i am really pleased with the outcome. A credit to yourself ,also, for great customer service from the offset! Because you were keen to receive as fitted photos it makes it a pleasure installing knowing that someone wants to see the finished result. Thankyou for everything. Hi mark, Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner - we have been busy putting down the hard standing for the bike so thought I would wait until I could take some pictures for your website! I am really pleased with the Y-anchor, I think that it is a really well designed product which was simple to install and is easy to use. I spent a long time looking round many different websites looking for a suitable anchor to use and eventually chose the Y-anchor as i thought it was one of the best around and good value. Y anchor original motorcycle security ground anchors

Hi, I've taken a few pictures of my well-protected Harley VRSCX which you are welcome to use. The bike cost ?13 500 and I got a discount on my insurance through having it anchored to the ground. I looked at all the ground anchors available and the Y-MAX is simply the best. It was very simple to install and only took a couple of hours. I teamed it up with a 16mm 1.5metre Almax Immobiliser III chain and a Cisa padlock. I can sleep easily with "Full Metal Jacket" security like this. Regards,

With not having room for a garage I started looking round for some sort of anchor to secure my Quad bike to. Looking round there are two options either ones like the Y anchor or those you bolt to the ground or wall. Reading about all different types, the ones buried in the ground looked best. Of the ones available with it's Sold Secure Gold rating, the Y anchor looked the best. Now that it has been installed it not only looks good hidden underground but I am assured my Quad bike is safe locked to it.

Mark, Some ground anchor installation photos, never concreted before, but don't be put off its easy. Just mix it and slop it in, loads of videos on youtube if you need some advice. Have you considered putting up a video showing the installation of your product? I found the customer installation photos useful but a video would help people who may be put off at the task? Anyway great product and instructions, bike now secured in back garden, tucked up in it's bike tent. Regards

The delivery of the item was Great. Installed the Y anchor into a block paved driveway. (No trouble, remove a couple of blocks and dug down) Great Y anchor with drainage. Could of easily blended the anchor into the drive but decided to leave it rough to highlight the security Very easy to install and very secure. People will think twice before attempting to tamper with the bike. Can leave the bike with piece of mind day after day after day. thanks again - great security anchor

the best in motorbike security the ultimate ground anchor

Hi Mark Here are some photos of the Y anchor I bought from you, after installation. It was important that I could install ground anchors that was a). tamper proof and b). integrated well with my slate drive. Your Y anchor achieves both objectives. What you don't see in the photographs is the 80kg block of concrete with reinforcing rods below the slate (I am a builder). It is possible that a determined thief could steel the bike but he would need a battery grinder to cut through the chain as I am confident your ground anchor is going nowhere! It's the best motorcycle security anchor of its kind I have seen, every biker who is serious about security should have one. I wish I'd installed one before my Speed Triple was stolen... Hi Mark Happy to give you feedback. First of all I find your product of a very high quality and expect it to last for many years even though it is exposed to scandinavian weather. I've installed it so I can bolt my jetski(trailer) with a 16mm almax chain as seen on the pictures. It works like a charm and I feel confident that no one will pull out 80kg if concreete reinforced with extra steelrods hammered in a starformation before casting. CARAVAN SECURITY

The Y anchor is a really simple idea made into a fantastic product, I am very pleased with the results and would recommend to anyone needing to secure anything of value to make things as difficult as possible for would-be thieves. I have secured our caravan using a sold-secure chain and lock through the A-frame. Short of cutting the (supposedly un-cuttable) chain with some industrial cutting equipment, the only way to get the chain off would be by cutting through the A-frame with an angle grinder. This means that the caravan would not be able to be towed as the hitch would be rendered useless (the A-frame is what holds the towing hitch to the caravan chassis). Hope the photos are of interest. Having had our first Christiania bike stolen from our front garden, we needed a proper deterrent. Our first anchor was wall mounted and the thieves had simply crow-barred the anchor off the wall leaving us with a nice hole in our brickwork! It took me a morning to fit the Y- Anchor as I had to drill through almost a foot of concrete to create a neat hole but the process itself actually gives you peace of mind because you understand what a thief will have to get through in order to steal your bike. I'm now confident that the Y-Anchor and the 50 or so kilos of concrete that surround it will deter any opportunist Cheers,

Mark, Here's the post-installation photo, as promised! The concrete contractors found them easy to install, and put them inside a drainage tube that they dug inside of a deeper pit so it has proper drainage. The 6' Kryptonite Legend locks were easily long enough to wrap around the axles. The owner of the concrete company felt that to get these anchors out of the ground, the locks would probably break first and you'd need a piece of heavy instruction equipment like a Caterpillar D2 to pull them out - the tires would just spin if you tried to drive away with these chains locked in place.
