RARE liquor distillery promotional advertising - CREPE PAPER HAT with paper label that says "GREETINGS FROM SCHENLEY DISTILLERS, NEW YORK NY". I can't find another one of these to compare to online, not currently for sale, nor even listed in 15+ years of completed internet auctions. Measures 11.5x9 inches. Circa the 1930's, maybe a prohibition-era item; Wikipedia says that "In 1933, when Prohibition ended, Schenley Distillers Company was formed as a publicly owned company (the hats could be celebrating that, or the end of prohibition, or both). It became the largest liquor company in the United States from 1934–1937".
