6" Round Felt Covered Christmas Gift or Keepsake Box with three-dimensional holly berries and leaves on lid. Colors are cream, hunter green, and maroon felt with cream and gold (non-metallic) blanket-stitched trim on lid and gold blanket stitching and green rick rack trim on a maroon felt band on the side of the box (photos 2 and 5 show the sides best). The box is 3.5" deep.
The box seems to be made of very heavy cardboard. The box and lid are lined with hunter green cotton fabric (see photo 7). The interior of the box is very clean, though there is a small amount of glitter in creases where the side of the box meets the bottom. I think this could easily be vacuumed out. The top and sides of the box are covered in hunter green felt with colored accents as described above. The outer bottom of the box (see photo 6) is covered with the same cotton fabric with which the box is lined.
There are no raw edges of fabric showing anywhere, nor are there any uncovered areas of cardboard. All covering material, both inside and outside, is tightly attached and secure.
This box is clean, in and out, is very well made and is in excellent condition. It would make a lovely box for a special Christmas gift or a fitting storage container for keepsake ornaments or other decorations. It would also look great in a holiday display with a country or homespun theme.
