The folding nature of the CYA Navigation Plotter for flight training allows for smoother measurements during flight. When not in use, it can easily be folded and tucked away in a pocket.

The course line extends the entire length to measure true course from lines of latitude or longitude. Scales for WAC 1:1,000,000, VNC 1:500,000, and VTC 1:250,000 are calibrated in nautical miles, statute miles and kilometers.
