My radiator guards are handmade, they use 6x3mm apeture aluminium mesh and are powdercoated black, the edging strip is black rubber trim.
Each one is bespoke to fit mm perfect, these are nothing new and have been used on race bikes for years, I have just adapted and improved it, they are suitable for road bikes too.

No removal of the radiator is required:
The video covers the majority of styles and types of radiator guard but in essence:
1. Place the left hand edge of guard in the left side of the radiator, some radiators have a small recess which the guard butts in to.
2. Using your hand gently push the guard flat into the rad, the oposing edge is 1-2mm longer in some cases, larger than the area its going into and needs to be pushed past the edge so it makes a super tight compression fit.
3. Secure using the zip ties or locking wire as shown in the video, also a handy lockwiring photo reel below.
It really is that simple and easy, some guards need minimal securing as they are hand made to be nice and tight.
