MIDO Professional Abrasive's titanium drill bits have a titanium coating that provides longer life when drilling in non-ferrous metals. These bits are also suitable for drilling in wood and plastic and are ideal for commercial and residential applications. The speed tip design reduces walking on start, and the no-spin keeps the bit secure in the drill. Includes 14 bits sized from 1/16 to 1/4-inch.

️ ️HSS 6542 / M2 Material: HSS 6542/M2 is molybdenum based high-speed steel in tungsten–molybdenum series. HSS grade steel M2 is a medium alloyed high speed steel which has good machinability and features more molybdenum content(4.50-5.50%). The chemical composition gives a good combination of well-balanced toughness, high wear resistance and red hardness properties. 

️ ️Fully Ground Technic: HSS-G (ground) is cut in their shape with the help of diamond tools and cooled during the process. Use HSS-G for more precise work because they are better centered generally and perfectly symmetrical.


️ ️Split Point: For drills with very strong cores, for particularly tough, hard materials and for deep-hole drills. Split Point features good centering, little pressure required. Chip spreading improves chip removal.



️ ️135° Point Angle: The 135º high performance cutting edge ensures a very high aligned preciseness. The point angle is located on the head of the twist drill. The angle is measured between the two main cutting edges at the top. A point angle is necessary to center the twist drill in the material.The larger the point angle, the shorter the tapping time. 

️ ️40° Helix Angle: The 40º helix angle enables a perfect and fast chip removal and provides a high cutting speed along with increased stability and accuracy.
️ ️Wide Groove Profile: Wider groove profile takes a better chip absorption and removal. Poor chip removal means a higher heat development, which in return can lead to annealing and ultimately to breakage of the twist drill.
️ ️Titanium Coating: The titanium coating on the drill bit helps to reduce overheating. It’s the reason that this bit has a lifespan up to six times longer than other comparable drills.

️ ️Applications: For light metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, plastics, hard wood and chipboard
