Mongolian sheepskins rugs have a great decorating potential thanks to their long, soft fur. Natural sheepskins tend to come in variety of colours and patterns (grey, black, cream, white, brown and spotted) but we also have a huge range of dyed ones. They are very versatile and can be used as floor rugs, sofa or bed throws, chair or foot stool cover etc. Quad sheepskins are made from 4 single skins sewn together.

This quad cream white MONGOLIAN curly sheepskin rug is approximately 195cm x 115cm (78" x 46") on fur side. Average fur length is 25cm (10").

"The Orkhon (Mongolian: орхоh) is a Mongolian breed of sheep first developed in 1961. This medium, semi-fine wool breed is now reared primarily for wool.
Both sexes of Orkhon breed display white color, short tail (usually cut at early age), compact body with straight back. On average and at maturity, rams produce 5,6 kg and ewes produce 3,7 kg of semi-fine wool. Average wool length is 8 cm, the average diameter of the Orkhon fiber is 25-31 microns (Wikipedia)."
