The pages are very clean - no creases, no underlining or highlighting, no marks.  

These are from my late father's collection and he prized his National Geographic.   

The covers are shown in the pictures and you can judge for yourself.     The front and rear covers look very good (see pics for yourself).   The side binding (see pic) also looks remarkably good.

There are no inserts in these National Geographic. If they did come with inserts, such as maps, those are long gone.
