The Kumho Crugen HT51 is a highway terrain, all weather tire made for commercial vans, SUVs, and light trucks. It has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes as well. It offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes and a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light tucks sizes of this model.

Kumho covers this tire model and size with its Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged by road hazards within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32” of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have a right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement of an equivalent Kumho tire. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Kumho Tires.

The model has great all weather traction with the tread pattern design and the all weather tire compound, that maintains its road gripping ability in winter weather road conditions as well. The tire actively resists hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the footprint with the zigzag groove design. The better hydroplaning resistance and excellent traction ensure a safer year round performance.

The tire's controllability is first-rate as well. The maintained road contact is guaranteed by the symmetric tread design, which firmly grips the road surface. This stabilizes the tire's structure against the driving pressure affecting it, and at the same time boosts the steering's precision and response time.
