These professional quality 4mm gold-plated banana plugs were designed for  systems requiring high quality cable terminations, but without the  necessity to solder. The plugs are ideal for use with the best available audio separates and loudspeakers, thus ensuring their optimum sonic  performance without any degradation in sound!

Designed to fit 4mm amplifier and speaker sockets found on most high-end audio  separates such as Arcam, Linn and Quad amps, these 4mm plugs are  constructed from a gold plated metal connector and termination of cable is by crimping. The heavy duty plug barrel accepts cable up to 3.8mm diameter and requires crimping with heavy duty crimp tool to ensure a consistently high level of  performance and connectivity. The spring pin section of the plug allows  for a firm connection to the speaker or amplifier socket.

The rigid red and black covers can be fitted after the cable has been terminated for convenience.
