Radar Dimax AS-8 Tires

The Radar Dimax AS-8 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Radar offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the W and Y speed rated sizes and a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and V speed rated sizes of this tire model. This warranty is for new tires only.

Radar offers a Road Hazard warranty with this tire model. Damaged tires which are within the first 2/32 or tread wear or the first year after purchase of the tire - whichever comes first - are eligible for an equivalent replacement. Customers need to follow the manufacturer's requirements in order to receive the equivalent replacement. For additional information, please contact the manufacturer or follow up on their website.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the durable tire compound improve the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The tread design with the siping and notch pattern firmly grips the road surface throughout the performance, by utilizing additional biting edges. On the other hand, the rubber flexibility optimizes the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, increasing the year-round performing power. The groove placement avoids hydroplaning. These grooves manage to effectively disperse water and slush from the footprint, significantly boosting the wet weather driving safety levels.

The ideal tread design's surface contact improves controllability. The ideal tread design upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability as it closely follows the road surface throughout the drive. In this manner, the tire is able to enhance the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder block pattern with the siping placement upgrades the cornering ability by firmly gripping the road surface with extra biting edges. The notched and siping placement enhances the braking power. These elements generate friction between the tire and the road surface, shortening the braking distance. This combination ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle at all times.

The Radar Dimax AS-8 also increases the length of the tread life. The asymmetric ribbed tread design upgrades the road contact, enabling the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking avoids irregular wear formations. The durable compound helps to upgrade the tread wear rate. In other words, the compound prevents premature wear formations. The slower and even wear elongates the service life and the usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

  • Notify VYC Tires, Inc. via eBay message and provide the date of your original purchase, the brand, model and size of the tire, and whether you wish to purchase a replacement tire or obtain a refund.
  • We accept Returns within a 90-day period starting from the date of purchase!
