This wooden hand-painted liqueur decanter with platter and two cups belonged to my Ukrainian grandmother. She came to the US after World War II. I always remember seeing this decanter in her house, from when I was young in the 1970s. I do not know where my grandmother bought this. There is no maker's mark on it.

She never used it for serving liqueur (or anything, for that matter). It was always a decoration on a shelf.

I cannot find any other version of this figurine on the web, to figure out its origin.

The wooden liqueur decanter is painted black with flowers in rose, blue, and white. The cups match.

Note there is a small chip near one side of the platter. It has always had that, as far back as I can remember. Similarly, one of the cups seems to have had its base broken and re-glued at some point.

The decanter is about 11 inches tall. The cups are about 3 1/2 inches tall.

I support Ukrainian relief efforts.
