Vintage Hand Crafted Pixie Elf Fairy With Lyra Figurine

This figurine is a wonderful handcrafted rendition of a magical being.  It was produced in the 1960's by the Buonamici Statuary Co. in Brooklyn, NY.  The fairy was crafted from a vintage Italian hard plastic product similar to that used by Fontanini.  It was finished with Gesso which produced the wooden look. This pixie is wearing red velvet fabric clothing which is edged in gold. There are a number of faux jewels and pearls accenting the piece.  This Elf stands on a wooden base which is brushed with gold. The hands and musical instrument are made of wood.

Measures ~ 21 1/2" H x 6 3/4" base.

In great vintage condition with normal expected wear.  There are no chips, cracks or missing pieces.  No tears or rips to fabric. Some minor fading to clothing and minor wear to paint in some areas.
