The Compact Hook Stone is a high precision hook sharpening tool, made exclusively with Dianova® Lapstone, that can be used to hone amazingly sharp hook points on straight and beaked point patterns.

The combination of a solid steel handle and flat faced 2cm wide x 7.5cm long abrasive surfaces, gives you the greatest control during sharpening.

The honing surfaces are made with 2 different levels of high quality diamond encrusted composite abrasive:

30 microns (fine grade) on the Dianova side

60 microns (medium grade) on the Gardner side

12.5cm long, 2cm wide

Mounted on a rigid, lightweight 2cm wide stainless-steel handle, the stability of the handle and width of the abrasive surfaces makes this tool extremely effective and easy to use.

The honing surfaces remain flat throughout the lifetime of the Hook Stone, ensuring the product remains effective for longer.
