This is an older wicker sewing or needlework basket with two handles. The lid is hinged with odd little wire hinges (see pics). It was made in Yugoslavia and measures 16 3/8" x 13 3/4" x 8 3/4" tall, a nice roomy size. It is in wonderful condition and quite sturdy. The color is awesome!
