This is a lovely plump, two handled crackle glaze oriental lamp which stands on a pretty flower shaped wooden base. The background cream glaze is illustrated with red, orange, yellow and blue spheres around the neck of the lamp and the widest part is decorated with lilac and orange coloured prunus and foliage embellished with gold highlights.
The lamp is in lovely condition and would make a lovely addition to a decorative scheme. For completeness there appears to be a very small firing crack on the top surface of the lamp which has most likely always existed.
The lamp base is 29 cm high (excluding the bayonet fitting) and 19 cm wide at its widest part.
The lamp is fitted with a long gold coloured cord and a plug. The top of the lamp has a standard bayonet fitting - please see the photos for full details. The light has been working at home but it has not been PAT tested.
