Q:What is the smell of the ozone machine?
A:The room will smell very fresh like after a lighting storm. While ozone is on it can smell like a mixture of bleach or chlorine while on – that is a normal smell of it working and scrubbing the air- After the unit turns off wait 1-2 hours and the room will smell extremely fresh.

Q:will the machine work on mold reduction?
A:According to one of our customers's experience:

"If the mold on the wall is out on the open, such as visible on the wall, the the ozone will kill the visible mold on the walls as well as the spores in the air. After several uses of the ozone machine, the mold will change color...gray to white, and you can then clean it off with bleach or sodium hypochlorite.

If the mold is behind the wall, it will not be exposed to enough ozone to eliminate it. So, if possible, you would have to eliminate the mold behind the wall in order to eliminate it permanently.

If you cannot remove the mold from behind a wall, you will need to use ozone periodically to kill the spores in the air as they form. That should prevent mold from growing elsewhere.

If your house is very humid or damp, despite using a dehumidifier, mold will likely form regularly. In that case, use the ozone regularly to kill the spores in the air. "

A:No, it will not trigger your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.

Q:Aren't these ozone products terrible for the environment?
A:From what I know and the research that I have done, I do not believe so. The ozone generated by ozone generators breaks
down into oxygen within 40 minutes. I see a lot of nay sayers about their effectiveness when used for their intended purpose
but personally I use them in my day to day with in fire damage restoration and they work wonders at combatting and eliminating
smoke smell

Q:What happens if you stay in the room while it is on?
A:All ozone machines have to be used in unoccupied space only. Ozone (O3) is a powerful sterilizer. When odors, bacteria or viruses meet ozone, oxidation reactions occur and both parties are destroyed. When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Please remember that you have to keep your pets (if you have) and yourself away from the machine when it’s producing ozone
