Stainless Steel 316L Grade Balls

Grade 316L stainless steel balls serve as paint agitators used in the most popular paint brands (Vallejo, Scale75, Army Painter, Games Workshop).

316L is a top-quality stainless steel, resistant to acids, corrosion and extremely saline enviroinment.

This is of great importance because paint manufacturers use a variety of substances that can cause corrosion of most types of steel and can lead to contamination of your paint. If you choose your steel wisely, you will avoid further problems.

316L Grade Steel is also heavier than glass balls, which are often found and used as paint agitators. This extra weight makes the use of steel balls better suited for the paint mixing process.

We are certified by the steelworks producing this product. The certificate contains the exact chemical composition which confirms the quality and type of steel.

We send the items the same day if the payment is made to 3PM, we use RM24 service.

SAE 316L grade stainless steel, sometimes referred to as A4 stainless steel or marine grade stainless steel, is the second most common austenitic stainless steel after 304/A2 stainless steel.

The addition of molybdenum provides greater corrosion resistance than 304, with respect to localized corrosive attack by chlorides and to general corrosion by reducing acids, such as sulfuric acid.

316L grade is the low carbon version of 316 stainless steel. When cold worked, 316 can produce high yield and tensile strengths similar to Duplex stainless grades.

It is commonly used in chemical and petrochemical industry, in food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, medical devices, in potable water, wastewater treatment, in marine applications and architectural applications near the seashore or in urban areas.

The items should not be used for food or electrical purposes.
