This is a pair of driving clip on glasses from the 1950's made by Rayex.  They come in a cardboard case that is in remarkable condition considering its age.  I would almost say they were unused as the case show only minor shelf wear.  

Wearing these yellow type of lenses was thought to improve contrast and reduce eye fatigue on long driving trips.   

The rims so some minor plating wear.  The lenses show practically no wear or scratches and are mounted securely in the frames.  Center bow connecting the two lenses is sound and provides the spring tension to keep the lenses in place.  Lastly all four of the clips are present and intact.  Very nifty vintage find...
