Application Instructions
Important: Avoid applying in extreme heat, cold, wind, or direct hot sunlight. Vinyl becomes soft in high temperatures and less adhesive in low temperatures.
What You’ll Need
- Spray bottle
- Water with a few drops of dish soap
- Squeegee
- Two‑person application recommended
How to Apply
- Clean the windscreen thoroughly using an alcohol‑based cleaner.
- Lightly mist the windscreen with the soapy water solution.
- Peel the backing from the sunstrip, spraying the adhesive side as you go.
- Position the sunstrip — the solution allows easy adjustment.
- Use a squeegee to remove water and air bubbles with gentle pressure.
- Allow to dry for at least 24 hours (longer in cold/wet weather).
Additional Tips
- Do not apply firm pressure until the sunstrip is perfectly aligned.
- No protective film is present — do not peel the top surface.
- Small bubbles can be worked out or pricked with a fine pin.
Shipping, Returns and Replacements
Orders are dispatched Monday–Friday via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Sunstrips are shipped in a protective tube. Decals are shipped in a hard‑backed envelope.
If a replacement is agreed then it will be shipped in a large letter box using a second class postal service (not tracked).
Returns accepted if:
- The item is returned unused and in original condition
- The item has not been customised*
- The buyer covers return postage
*Customised items include added text, logos, or non‑standard colours.
