'Becoming Whole' is the story of one young woman's struggle with these and similar problems of real living. As she faces death, 29 year old Margaret opens up her life and deepest thoughts in the hope that her experiences and the lessons she has learned through them might be of help and blessing to others.
Above all this book should draw us closer to God and to one another and taking God at His Word are the bases of wholeness, which is ultimately possible only as the gift of God is Jesus Christ.
About the Author
Margaret Garner was born in Orbost, Victoria in July 1954. After completing a degree at La Trobe university she studied linguistics with the Wycliffe Bible Translators before joining them as a member to serve as a translator in Papua New Guinea. Brought home for treatment for increasing deafness she had to face the shattering diagnosis that she has glioma, a malignant brain tumour. Given three years reprieve after treatment she now has to face its recurrence. Her previous publication is a book of poems, "Thank You Lord".
