GREENLAND WHALEFISHERS - "Amazing Space (B-sides and other crap)"- CDLP

You are about to buy an album by Norway's version of The Pogues.

This is a brand new CDLP released on my label, ROCK 'EM DEAD, and because we're trying to empty out stock a little to allow us to release more Punk Rock, we are holding the prices of our releases to JUST £3.49 until further notice.

THAT'S A BRAND NEW CD ALBUM FOR LESS THAN THE PRICE OF A PINT!

This is the 2007 album release of rarities, B-sides of singles and live trax from one of the most exciting Celtic-Punk bands around. Not just a great album for fans but also a good entry level album too.

"Greenland Whalefishers started out in Bergen Norway in 1994, long before anyone had heard of bands like Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys. Combining British punk with Celtic folk influences, the band soon became one of the most interesting post-Pogues bands.

More than two decades of touring all around the world performing sparkling live shows, releasing nine full length albums, DVD documentary movie, piles of singles, EPs and split-releases, contributing with music to the movie “Boondock Saints – All Saints Day”, places the underground folk punkers in Greenland Whalefishers as one of the worlds most credible Celtic rock bands.." - CelticPunk webzine
