Remains UNread - it was the display copy instore - small store sticker remnants on the back fo the front cover. It is Tight -  neat, no inscriptions or marks within. Appears as in my photos - this is the exact copy!!  A nicely preserved copy - superb!

No discernible shelf wear to the illustrated boards themselves, the interior is tight and spotlessly clean with 32 pages. THIS copy is the FIRST EDITION: Only printing from 2007 - the Australian publishing by Omnibus Books, an imprint of  Scholastic, Malvern, Sth. Australia. No names on burnt orange endpapers - but sticker remnant to top edge on the back of the front cover.

SYNOPSIS ....

Ock Von Fiend doesn't have many friends because, well, he's a vampire. When he gets down about being different, Ock remembers the advantages - super hearing, night vision, vanishing power, and how cool are those teeth?

Ock Von Fiend lives on the outskirts of town and doesn't have many friends because, well, he's a vampire who tends to want to bite people. Luckily he has his teddy Van Munster (who has lately been possessed by a demon), the neighbourhood werewolf, his part-monkey undead grandfather, and his music to keep him busy. But that isn't to say that he wouldn't like to meet a nice lady vampire - know anyone? This playful and affectionate character study of Ock the lonely vampire is sumptuously illustrated with humorous and original characters by a talented new author.

it was amazing …. This is the most amazing picture book I have ever encountered.
A book that humanises vampires to children and makes them not so scary, but lovable.
The pictures add more to the story, like "biting on special occasions" having him hiding in a Christmas hat.
I giggled and gasped my way through this.
Any alternative parent MUST have this book for their child.
