SR43 (1.55V) ×4 → approximately 5.6V
This V27PX / PX27 voltage transformation adapter replaces the discontinued
5.6V V27PX mercury battery used in vintage cameras that rely on multi-cell
mercury power systems.
The adapter uses four 1.55V SR43 silver oxide batteries (total 6.2V; also
known as SR43W, SR43SW, 386; 301 equivalent) and converts them to
approximately 5.6V through an internal voltage regulation circuit, closely
matching the original mercury battery behavior and helping maintain stable
camera operation and meter accuracy.
-
Designed for cameras originally using V27PX or PX27‑type mercury power
systems (originally 5.6V effective output for V27PX).
-
Maintains correct outer size and contact structure for PX27-type battery
compartments
- No modification or rewiring required in most cases
- Uses 4× SR43 / 386 silver oxide batteries (not included)
- Made in Japan by Kanto Camera
Typical Compatible Models:
- Minox: 35GT / 35GSE / 35EL and other 35 series models
- Rollei: 35SE / 35TE
- Other compact cameras using PX27 / V27PX batteries
Important Notes:
-
Use silver oxide batteries only; alkaline batteries may cause unstable
operation
-
Voltage regulation works only under load; measurements without a camera
may show higher voltage
-
Performance may vary depending on camera condition and electronic
circuit design
-
Please confirm your camera model and required battery type before
purchase
- Battery not included.
