SR626SW (1.55V) ×1 → approximately 1.35V for Pentax Spotmatic SP / SP-II

This H-B adapter is designed specifically for Asahi Pentax Spotmatic (SP) and Spotmatic II (SP-II) cameras. It replaces the discontinued 1.35V PX400 / EPX400 / V400PX mercury battery originally used in these models.

The adapter converts a 1.55V SR626SW silver oxide battery (also known as 376 or 377) to approximately 1.35V through a built-in voltage reduction circuit, maintaining proper meter operation and exposure accuracy.
  • Compatible only with Pentax Spotmatic SP and SP-II (not for other models)
  • Replaces PX400 / EPX400 / V400PX mercury batteries (1.35V)
  • No modification required; functions as battery cover and adapter in one unit
  • Uses SR626SW / 376 / 377 silver oxide batteries (not included)
