This type of watermelon is not the same watermelon that we eat. It’s a type of wild watermelon from Africa! Watermelon seed oil contains essential fatty acids for moisturizing and antioxidants to promote healthier skin. Using pure watermelon seed oil helps with sealing the moisture into the skin for increased hydration and softness. The antioxidants in pure watermelon seed oil soothes the skin and promotes smoother skin texture. It absorbs easily into the skin and has a naturally sweet, enjoyable scent!
How to Use Watermelon Seed Oil
To use pure watermelon seed oil on skin, you can add a couple drops into your favorite moisturizer and apply that mixture. That moisturizer can either be a cream-based product, or another carrier oil! Another way to use the oil on your skin is by using the oil straight out of the bottle. Massage or pat the watermelon seed oil onto your face after cleansing to lock and seal in moisture. We recommend using the oil at night, as it is heavier. However, if you have dry skin or live in a dry climate, you may benefit from using the oil during the day!
Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 3 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). It may go cloudy in cool conditions but will return to its natural state once warmed.
