Entitled: Opened Heart, this piece is vibrant. In my conversation with the artist here’s how she explains it:

“I feel this painting expresses the experience of the change that happens when this power greater than us, intercedes for us and into our lives. All the old beliefs and values are exploded out to reveal the human heart at our core, which I envision in purple. The old values, the things I clung to for my identity are represented in golden metallic paint on little bits and pieces of color. A heavenly blue shimmer paint is at the top on the way up. For me, this is the resurrection story. And I hope it speaks to someone too!”
