TC scarce issued Topps card. Issued in Venezuela as back is  a diffrent color. Shows  a thin TC . Back of card s lists the hard-hitting Red Sox outfielder written in spanish. Scarce card great  year 1967.

 Tony Conigliaro Boston Red Sox 1963-75. Local Boston sports hero born in East Boston. in 1963 batted 363 and hit 24 HRs for Wellsville. Tony broke into starting lineup of the Red Sox at 19 years old, hit home run his first pitch at Fenway Park Opening Day in front of the Robert Kennedy, Ted Kennedy and family with funds going to the JFK Library. Youngest A.L. player to hit 100 home runs, youngest A.L. player to led the league in home runs doing in in his second season 1965. Most life time HR by a teenager. Hit by a pitch in 1967 that ruined his career, possibly leading to his early death. Great heart and soul as attempted many comebacks in 1968, 1969, 1975 and in Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. One of first sports star to cross over into a recording career with popular songs Little Red Scotter 1964 and Poetry in 1975. Sang on the Merv Griffin and Mike Douglass show as a guest singer.
