I am finally beginning to sell my art collection (which has had an emphasis on pin-ups, risque and nudes). It has been carefully acquired over the past 50 years!  As a retired senior it is time to downsize a bit.

Original Oil  Painting titled "Tea Time" by the renowned artist Sid Mountain (born 1918-?). This is a signed and nice original oil pin-up painting of a beautiful, scantily clad, woman sipping tea in an art studio! She is standing near a wonderfully rendered coal stove with a copper tea kettle on top. What a wonderful pin-up it is! I would call it tastefully risque. Thankfully, clearly signed by the obviously talented artist / illustrator Sid Mountain. It appears to be an illustration with an area above her head and to her right that seems dedicated to adding an advertisement of some sort. Just my opinion. I have seen evidence online of his paintings selling into the thousands of dollars! Your chance for a bargain!

This quality painting on Masonite measures 30" by 15" and is perfected by it's original 32" x 17" wooden frame with decorative gold. This very attractive painting will surely compliment your decor and add a tasteful piece to your art collection! The condition of the painting itself is very good with a few paint flecks missing around her hemline. There is about a 2in scrape at the base of the coal stove revealing a whitish undercoat. There are a few additional missing flecks of paint here and there. As with most paintings approaching 50 years old it could use a cleaning. Please see the photos.  It is a tasteful interpretation of a very attractive woman enjoying a cup of tea with a bewildered expression! Beautiful brush strokes and technique by an obviously talented artist! She captures the spirit of the great pin-up artists of the 1940s and 50s. Extremely shapely!

Please check out my other listings as I intend to list more of my art as time allows. I have put out some serious money for my art collection through the years. My loss is your gain since I just need to downsize at this point. When my listing contains a "make offer" option, I will be more than happy to consider it!

You can bid or buy with confidence as my feedback is as good as it gets and has been for over 20 years!

I would appreciate it if you would contact me first regarding any damage during shipping or if you feel the item does not match my description. I find it's better to work things out together and avoid eBay's cookie cutter approach to any issues.

Thank you
