These items are manufactured by the O.E.M. supplier to BMW. Set includes plug wires with factory BMW wire Loom. All components are maunfactuered to BMW's exact blue prints and specifications. This product is assembled by the O.E. supplier to BMWNA. All connectors are made by BREMI and are to the exact resistance values required by BMW and Bosch to avoid E.C.U. and Ignition module damage. Connectors are original Bremi products both ends of the wires. Wire is double wrapped silicone with high quality stranded copper core wire. This wire set is an exact duplicate of the Factory BMW wire set number 12 12 1 279 550. Set includes, plug wire and connectors, original equipment wire harness, and coil wire. BMW's MSRP on these item is over $300.00 

Note: Before purchasing confirm your Vehicle has the Push-On rotor! (As shown in photo) If your rotor is secured by 3 screws this Wire set will not fit your car.

Why insist on multi stand copper core wire??
For optimum performance and the elimination of radio noise. Spark plug wires need a specific resistance between the connector on the distributor cap and the spark plug. This resistance is a specific value prescribed by the car manufacture, as well as the specific design of the ignition system. To maintain the ohm resistance European car manufacturers install resistors in the connector at the distributor cap as well as the connect at the spark plug, rather than making the entire wire a resistor. Although not recommended for European ignition systems, a cheaper way to achieve this is to use non resistant connectors and substitute Spiral core resistance wire in place of the multi stand copper wire, which is not recommended for any European vehicles.
