Vetus exhaust hose - Lloyds Approved

Vetus exhaust hoses are flexible and strong, with a bending radius of no more than 1.5x the diameter.

Vetus 'SLANG' exhaust hose is designed to be used as a flexible tubing in marine wet exhaust systems on yachts and small craft - it is not suitable for dry exhausts.

The hose is temperature resistant between -30 and +100 degrees centigrade, with a brief peak temperature of +115 degrees centigrade.

In order to reduce back pressure, the inside of all Vetus exhaust hose is completely smooth (the outside is slightly corrugated).

The inside of the hose is made from smooth EDPM rubber which is exhaust gas and salt water resistant. It is reinforced with a synthetic textile fabric layer with steel wire embedded between the layers.

This hose is approved to SAE J 2006 R2 and has Lloyds approval RINA approval (ISO 13363).

IMPORTANT NOTE: we sell this exhaust hose by the metre, so please select the quantity you require in metres. As the hose is cut from a longer length, the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act for 'free' returns do not apply (unless it is faulty), so please ensure that you select the correct size and quantity as we can not accept returns! If any return is accepted, this will be subject to a handling charge of a minimum of 50%.

CARRIAGE: please contact us before ordering for delivery prices for sending exhaust hose to outlying areas (Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland) as a carriage surcharge may apply. Unfortunately, we may have to cancel orders to places where carriage costs significantly exceed the price charged.

We supply a VAT invoice with all orders.
