MWC G10 Military/MOD 100M Water Resistance with Date Window
The MWC G10 100m models in stainless steel are one of the highest specification of military watches in production anywhere in the world with an incredible 10 year battery life. Although this Specification watch traces it's origins right back to our earliest designs when this 100m G10 model was initially introduced for contract purchase in 2008-2010 in a variety of variants it represented the most radical upgrade and specification enhancement since we updated our standard 50m models in 2004.
Whilst the screw down crown and screw caseback greatly improve the water resistance the upgrade to the Ronda 715li movement with 10 year battery life greatly reduces the maintenance requirements of the watch. The watch has a sandblasted non reflective case, sandblasting is a process which was historically used on a large number of military watches from other manufacturers and has not been widely employed since the 1990s, although more costly to manufacture than other steel finishes it offers the best non reflective characteristics and is vastly superior to both standard brushed or satin stainless steel cases.
When we secured a contract to produce this model in 2009 it was specified alongside the requirement for screw caseback, 100m water resistance and screw down crown that the case should be 100% covert and non reflective and it was decided that sand blasting was the best process to meet that requirement as well as providing a very robust and durable finish. The end result is that our 100m water resistant watches are totally unique and extremely functional with a high visibility dial.
The G10 100m variant is very rugged and is designed to survive the most extreme of conditions. The case back for this watch is of a brushed stainless steel finish.
The MWC Watch comes with the selection of quality universal military nylon watch straps available in all Olive Green, Black, Dessert or Maroon colours. We do offer British Army Regimental colours.
Strap size in this watch is 20mm width with a length of 28cm (Not inclusive of the Stainless Steel buckle).

Marking/Etching/Engraving
We offer 3 different types of personalisation, here is a breakdown below for you.
Black Anneal Marking - This is a permanent mark which is left behind after very precise heat being applied through lasers. The Mark has no contours and is smooth to the touch, this type of Marking is most commonly used in the medical industry.
Frosted White Etch - This type of Etch is heat being applied through lasers altering the compounds surface. The etch has a slight raise to the touch and light in colour white/silver. This is mainly used in mass production etching of industrial component parts for serial numbers, company logos etc.
Depth Engrave - This is a physical engrave that has depth into the material of the surface. High levels of heat is applied through lasers to remove the material, creating depth to the engraving. This has a depth to the touch, whilst a slightly roughed textured to the of the physical engraved area.
Mix of Black/Depth Engrave - This is a mix of Black Annealing & Depth Engraving as detailed above. We will mark the logo or small text in Black Anneal because in most cases logos and small text can be very detailed. Around the logo will be Depth Engraved.
Personalisation
Please see the images in the gallery for the template that is used. The watch details on the outside edge can not be changed (Watch details/Model). The inside text is the text that can be personalised along with the centre logo or add extra text (red text in gallery image). We do hold popular logos, so do ask us for any enquires and we can advice from there. If you supply your own logo we can only engrave it to the quality you supply, we will always try our best to enhance the image so it's clear as possible. Note we can not engrave colours. We advice you message us prior to sending any images to be engraved, unless you are certain they are high quality images that are simple and not very detailed. Again any issues or uncertainty, please do not hesitate to send us a message, we will always respond to you.

Engraving Maintenance
Although these watches are water resistant we always recommend all water to be wiped dry from the watches engraving after use, especially whilst in use around salty waters. This will allow longevity of the engraved piece.
Additional Information
This watch would have had it's back plate removed for engraving and we can not guarantee that once the back plate is replaced that it will be aliened so the logo faces a particular way. We will test the watch to its water resistance, or to the maximum of 10 Bar/100m/10 ATM depending on the watches recommended water resistance level (10 ATM is a watch you can swim with). This means if the watch is over 10ATM you will need to have it tested for water resistance if your intentions are to Deep Sea Dive.
The watches engraved case back may not fully align through the 12 O'Clock position, this will only ever be off by a couple of mm maximum.
Any Depth Engraving will be treated with lacquer to protect the metal for longevity of life and maintenance of quality.
