Super Snipe Saloon By the beginning of World War II, the Humber company was producing large-size 6-cylinder models, and the most powerful (4.1L engine developed by Delmar Ruso, who transferred to Humber from the American Studebacker) Super Snipe were called up in British Army and were used as command vehicles (Saloon and convertible), delivery (Woody van), communication vehicles (FFW), and on the Snipe chassis were built Ironside armored vehicles and a light reconnaissance vehicle Mk.II.
