PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The LUPO Bottom Bracket Tool is the essential shimano bb tool for home mechanics and workshop professionals working on Shimano HollowTech II and HollowTech 2 equipped road bikes, mountain bikes and MTBs.
One end of the spanner features a 16/24-notch BB socket that engages with the external cups of threaded bottom brackets — including Shimano BBR60, BB-MT800, Deore, XT and Ultegra — as well as FSA and SRAM DUB external BBs. The open jaw on the same end fits most externally-cupped bearinged bottom brackets for installation and removal without damaging the cups.
The reverse end is a dedicated Shimano HollowTech II preload tensioning tool, compatible with the standard HollowTech 2 crankset preload cap — eliminating the need for a separate crank cap tool when fitting Shimano chainsets.
Compatible with Shimano Centre Lock disc brake lockrings, the tool doubles as a centre lock removal and installation wrench — making it one of the most versatile and compact shimano tools in any workshop.
