Mac Cosmetics and Assouline Inc Celebrate the ever growing relationship between art and Beauty. Inspired by the irreverent imaging of M.A.C Cosmetics, the creative teams of M.A.C and Assouline got some of the most renowned designers, musicians, and artists to create unique body designs that became a provocative deck of playing cards. All the designs submitted were not only original and creative but reflected the individual personalities of the well-known participants. Over a period of 2 weeks, models and artists donated their time and subjected themselves to long hours of nude body painting re-creating the images that photographer Richard Lohr has captured with his lens.
